We asked three leading chefs what they’d like for Christmas, and learned they want to get away, far away. Dominique Crenn (Luce) would love to travel to spend the holiday with her mother for the first time in 20 years (roundtrip flights to Paris from $900 on Air France). Scott Youkilis (Hog and Rocks) dreams of a trip for two to Parma, Italy (roundtrip flights to Milan from $770 on Alitalia) to eat prosciutto non-stop with his wife for at least a week. And Roland Passot (La Folie) would be happy with any vacation for Christmas, but he particularly craves a pampered, drink-in-hand visit to Tahiti in French Polynesia (roundtrip flights to Papeete from $1200 on Delta).
